Blog Marathon: Summer Rewinds

So, did anyone notice I didn't post the blog marathon?  I have some good excuses...but I'll get to that soon enough... :)
The summer of 2011 was jam packed full.  I blogged here and there about some of our adventures, but here are some things I missed...
Will's trip to the ER--Will smashed his pinky finger between two rocks one day.  The doctor thought he may have some bone sticking out, but it was too difficult to see through the swelling.  So, off to the ER we went for an x-ray.  Turns out, it was fine...didn't even need stitches.  The milkshake and lollipop made it all better.

A Visit From My Sis--Kellye came into town to visit and to see our "cousin" Jenna graduate from high school.

Soccer Camp--Corey and I assisted with the soccer camp our church put on.  CJ participated as a camper and loved it.  Will and Ben got to play with some of the other littles on on the sidelines.

Weddings--Corey was asked to officiate 3 weddings this summer.  Two of the young men were in our youth group for several years so it was extra special for us.  I don't have any pictures of those brides though! :(

Church Retreat--A highlight of our summer, though lots of work, is our All Church Retreat.  We spend the weekend worshiping, eating, praying, listening to preaching, playing, laughing, and on this particular weekend...getting soaked!!  (Hurricane Irene reached us in the hills of Maryland!)
